The OCF Advised Fund Program gives donors the ability to be actively involved in choosing non-profit organizations to receive support. Twice a year, OCF seeks grant recommendations from fund advisors, who receive a packet providing the latest information about their funds, grant recommendation forms and, in some cases, grant suggestions based on their charitable interests.

All grant recommendations are presented to the Foundation's Board of Directors for review and approval. Once grants have been approved, checks and grant award letters are mailed to the recipient organizations. The award letter indicates the grant purpose, and includes fund contact name and address so that the organization can personally thank the fund advisor (or if preferred, donor may remain anonymous).
